Chai Plastic Surgery Lower Canthoplasty

I had lower canthoplasty at Jeonhu Chai Plastic Surgery in 2019 It was a procedure where they placed threads and tied them to the inner muscle, not an incision My outer eye corners were raised a lot, and the difference in height between my eyes was pretty noticeable It was an event price, and the event guidance, review request, follow-up care, and the director were all kind Worn down by work and life, it felt like I was being treated warmly by warm people in a warm organization for the first time in a while, and I felt pampered (thank you to the staff and medical team who helped me at the time; this wage slave was touched) The surgery ended quickly, they said it went well, and I immediately got up by myself and went home Even after the anesthesia wore off, it was fine if I took painkillers It hurt less than the day I got a flu shot, so returning to daily life right away was totally possible I pretended to be in pain until day 2, but I was so energetic with no time to rest that I was bored at home

I had zero bruising. I really touch and rub my eyes often Maybe because of that, on day 3 I got corneal edema and a little yellow bruising came up I used eye drops and it all healed And then I either went right away to get the stitches removed, or maybe I didn’t, I can’t remember, but I went straight back to work and on a business trip. For the first 2 or 3 months, when I sneezed I couldn’t squeeze my eyes shut, so I sneezed with them open There was a slight pulling sensation and throbbing, so I didn’t rub my eyes either I was worried the threads might stretch, so I just stayed careful myself

But now in year 5, it’s still holding up firmly and well Now even if I rub my eyes hard and sneeze refreshingly, there’s no foreign-body sensation at all At one point, someone even asked why the symmetry of both my eyes was so identical, so they really did a good job. Now that they feel like my own eyes, I sometimes think I should have asked them to lower them more dramatically

To add, I originally had thick aegyo-sal under-eye fullness After slightly pulling it downward, the aegyo-sal got a bit compressed and became even plumper. I like that the volume really came alive And because I rubbed my eyes so hard over the past 5 years, I do feel like the line has gone back up a bit, so I’m considering getting incision lateral/lower canthoplasty again.

I lost my phone once, so I don’t have clear photos, but if you look closely at the height of the under-eye line, the eye I rub every day has loosened a bit and gone up, but at first it was perfectly symmetrical, and for about 3 years when I didn’t rub and was careful, it was perfect The before photo is the before photo The after photo is a direct shot from now

That’s all. I love you, Chai Plastic Surgery.
