I had eye surgery at ㅇㅇㅌ
I'm male, and one eye had a double eyelid while the other didn't. My outer eye corners looked slightly upturned, and I wanted my eyes to look more open horizontally, so I went in for a consultation thinking about buried-suture double eyelid surgery and posterior/lower canthoplasty. But the director said my eyes themselves weren't small; they were large, and that I would look better with only double eyelid surgery. He said if I did posterior/lower canthoplasty too, I might look too feminine. He explained that the eye that originally had a double eyelid was an inner double eyelid, and that this eye was the kind of ideal shape? that men want when getting surgery? and counseled me that way.
So we decided to match the line on the other eye to look like the eye that already had a double eyelid, and I'm satisfied with the result. Like the doctor said, if I'd done posterior/lower canthoplasty too, it would've been too much lol. The symmetry is good, and maybe because it was done with the buried-suture method, there's no swelling, so it just feels like my own eyes.
+) My vision is blurry right now, but it'll gradually get better, right?
