Revision eye shape correction surgery

I'm in my mid-40s, and because my eye-opening strength is weak, I had eye shape correction surgery at another hospital about 7 years ago, where they tied the inner muscle, but my eyes started drooping again. Only about 60% of my pupils were visible, so I decided on revision surgery, and after getting recommendations from people around me, I made an appointment at Lee Youngjun Plastic Surgery. Getting an appointment was hard, but the waiting period was also so long... I waited almost close to a year. It did get much longer because something came up and I had to change my appointment date.

Since I was doing it anyway, I wanted to live with somewhat different eyes, so I also wanted to get lateral canthoplasty and double eyelid surgery together... but the director seemed somewhat skeptical, and said that because of swelling too, rather than doing everything at once, we should first do the eye shape correction and see, so in the end I only had eye shape correction.

During the surgery, they kept adjusting how much to pull the muscle while having me open my eyes. It's now been ten days since surgery... but my eyes are still a bit swollen, and although I originally had a deep natural double eyelid, they have become monolid eyes nowㅠ It doesn't look obvious that I had surgery when I go around, but I look very unattractive now. I thought that once the swelling went down, the double eyelid would come back, but since it's still like this even after ten days, I'm now a little worried inside. I originally swell a lot and recover very slowly... so I'm watching it a bit longer.

Because recovery is this slow and it's uncomfortable anyway, I also regret a little, wondering if I should have gone somewhere that would do double eyelid surgery and lateral canthoplasty all at once. Once all the swelling goes down, I'll leave another review.
