I went to a large hospital, but it felt like what people often call a factory-style place and was too hectic. So I went around to clinics with 1-2 directors for consultations, and they were much better, so I’m leaving a review.
Desired style: in-out line. Honestly, I didn’t look into it that much, but I heard Suzy’s eyes are this style. I thought Suzy’s eyes were pretty and liked them, so I only had in-out in my head when I went.. There are so many clinics, so I just narrowed it down to about two places.
Consultation 1
Consultant > Director > Consultant
I made a reservation and visited. The clinic wasn’t big, but I don’t think it needs to be. It was clean and cozy, so it actually felt comfortable.
I consulted with the consultant first, and she explained things gently and well. When she talked while looking at example photos, I felt she was quite professional!
Then I consulted with the director, and since I kept talking about an in-out line, he started by creating the line for me, and I liked it lol. He also made various other lines and told me to look at them too, but honestly, by my standards, the in-out line was the best lololol.
He had me take off my mask and checked whether it suited my face shape or not, and he seemed really meticulous.. He also recommended an upper canthoplasty, and since I’m doing it anyway, I think at least an upper canthoplasty would be better, so if I get it done here, I’m thinking I should do that!
I said I would look around at other places too, and they just told me to go ahead and look around. There didn’t seem to be any pressure to book. There was no talk of early-reservation discounts either, and overall it was clean and smooth, so I liked it!
Consultation 2
Consultant > Director > Consultant
I visited because it’s quite famous and many people say they examine you carefully. Maybe because it’s a famous place, even though I had a reservation, I think I waited about 1 hour? But looking at posts from other people going around for consultations, it seems like waiting about 1 hour to 1 hour and a half is basically normal, so I didn’t really have any complaints.
At first, I consulted with the consultant. She asked basic things like what I wanted done, why I wanted it, and what I wanted to improve, and it ended briefly.
I went in to consult with the director, and the questions were similar to the consultant’s. He also made a line for me and answered what I was curious about, but should I say he looked too busy.. It did feel like he pinpointed and pointed out exactly the necessary parts, but well.. I had waited quite a while, yet the consultation had to be rushed, which felt strange to me.
After finishing the consultation with the director, I consulted with the consultant again, and it proceeded with a “You’re going to book, right?” kind of feeling. When I said I would look around more, I felt her attitude change a little, so I didn’t feel great, but the consultant isn’t the one doing the surgery, so I’m planning to think about it..
