Footwork consultation review for alar lift / nostril wing lift

I spent a long time looking into alar lift because of various issues, but in the end I didn’t do it. There isn’t much information about alar lift / nostril wing lift, so I’m leaving this post in case anyone is curious. Places I consulted at -> ㅎㅌ, ㅎㅇㅂ, ㅇㄴㅁㄷ

1. ㅎㅌ Surgery is done by incision. There weren’t that many people, but I waited a really long time. I remember waiting close to an hour after consulting with the consultant until I saw the doctor. (They said the surgery right before me took a long time.) In my case, they said an alar lift would be difficult and that they couldn’t do the surgery. They explained the surgical method and many reviews in great detail. My case was special, but I think having surgery here would be fine.

2. ㅎㅇㅂ Surgery is done non-incision (more precisely, an internal incision). They said they cut the inside of the nose and then stitch it with thread to lift the nostril wings. No scarring and natural-looking. But the effect seems like something only I would notice. I think it would be good for people who want self-satisfaction or feel that even 1% is lacking. The director is extremely kind. Maybe because it’s a simple surgery, they didn’t take photos with a camera in a separate room, but with a tablet in the consultation room, so I was a bit flustered.

3. ㅇㄴㅁㄷ Surgery by incision. First of all, I was surprised because the building was a bit shabby. The consultant looked at things very meticulously. But the director was not so great... If I asked, “Is there a possibility the surgery could turn out like this?” he answered like, “It could, or it might not.” (I do think it’s because he’s worried about getting sued, but from the patient’s perspective, he spoke too ambiguously, so honestly it was hard to trust him.) Also, I only went to look into alar lift, but he recommended this and that. (He said he wanted to present as many possibilities as possible... but thinking about it now, I can’t help having various thoughts.) Both the director and the consultant seemed to have pride? in the director’s skill.

Incision definitely has an effect, but scars can remain and nostril deformation can occur. The non-incision effect is almost only noticeable to yourself. It’s really natural without scarring, and the nostrils don’t change either. Usually the cost seems to be non-incision < incision.

I haven’t gone for a consultation, but I heard ㅁㅌ is also famous for non-incision. Anyone planning to do consultation rounds, please use this as reference.
