I’m considering revision eye surgery, so I went for consultations. Among the hospitals I consulted with, two said that if possible, I should definitely come to the hospital the day after surgery to check the progress, and the other two said I could just come back a week later to have the stitches removed, without a visit the next day. If I have surgery at a place that says to come in the day after surgery if possible, it would be better to go in the next day, right? I live outside Seoul, so I think I’ll have to go back down after surgery, but because of the follow-up visit the next day, I’m worried because having to come back up to Seoul again seems difficult ㅠㅠ And I’m curious whether, if I go in, they just check the progress and then I go home. For those who have experience visiting the hospital the day after surgery, can you tell me what they do when you go in?
