Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redo

Real review of under-eye fat repositioning near Sinsa Station (after the Naver post was suspended...

Before<Surgery before >Before<Surgery after>Before<Surgery after>Before<Surgery after> ※ Once something is already damaged, it absolutely cannot be turned back. The clinic cannot take responsibility for it either. As posts get temporarily restricted and so on, adverse-effect reviews are effectively hard for consumers to see, making it difficult to make the right choice. Most posts uploaded on all kinds of apps and communities are only successful cases, so I hope people who are always considering plastic surgery look into everything, think it over a hundred times, and be careful.

Also, as someone who has had surgery, I hope you check stories in many places, such as Naver cafes, Babitalk, Gangnam Unni plastic surgery apps, and adverse-effect communities, and choose carefully.

I am 9 months post-op. Under-eye fat repositioning + nano fat grafting for dark circles + anterior cheek fat grafting, all done together

▶ Symptoms

1. Half of my face has had no sensation after surgery

From under the eye to the cheekbone, nose, and lips, it tingles and prickles,

and when I touch my cheekbone, my lips feel tingling and numb? Depending on the weather, it also feels cold, and the symptoms vary.

2. Dark circles did not improve. (Afterward, when I asked the clinic for before-and-after photos, they said they did not have them.

They explained that once surgery is fully completed, they discard them. I had complained of discomfort since after the surgery; ... Also, when I went for follow-ups, I said several times that I wanted to look at the photos and see whether there had been improvement, but I never got to see my photos.)

3. Scleral show in the eyes (photo). One side under the eye feels stiff, as if it is fixed,

and when I smile, it is clearly visible that it is fixed and does not lift.

They recommended dark-circle fat grafting and upper cheek grafting, so I did them together, but improvement aside... losing sensation caused me enormous stress.

▶ Clinic aftercare and response

1. I cannot see my (before / after) photos. I complained of discomfort and disputed the dark-circle improvement. I requested photos.

It is strange that they say there are no photos. I had said several times before that I would compare the photos and check the progress.

2. It is difficult to schedule a follow-up and consultation with the director

I do not know whether the reason is that it is a one-doctor clinic + there are few staff,

but KakaoTalk replies and phone contact are slow and difficult. There was a time I did not receive a reply for a month.

3. They falsely informed me that having a guardian attend the follow-up was a violation of medical law. (I even confirmed with a lawyer.)

This made no sense; when I said my guardian should come to the follow-up with me and listen, they said it was a violation of medical law

and that the clinic would be held responsible, so it was not allowed.

After hearing the lawyer's answer, I asked again several times, and they said they were only relaying the director's words and the director's answer.

Because of this, I lost trust, and it was a clinic whose management/handling/response was disappointing.

The cost was also the highest.

---Middle content omitted (guardian became involved) --- Back-and-forth contact with the clinic omitted-----

Afterward, I was contacted by a general manager? department head? whom I had not seen at the clinic.

After they checked the circumstances, I received an apology from the manager I was seeing for the first time. I also stated the direction I wanted,

and after communicating that I would have no further A/S, follow-up, or treatment with that clinic,

I demanded a full refund and apologies from the staff who had told me it was a violation of medical law.

I will state only the facts.

They asked whether it could be wrapped up with a half refund + an apology from them as the general manager, and I received an apology.

(As for staff apologies, they would internally have them write a report for HR management, blah blah,

because business is difficult, if they suddenly leave it would make clinic operations difficult; a full refund would mean the director admits that their own surgery

was done incorrectly, so it is difficult. They said they had tried to coordinate it at their level for half the amount...)

It ended with my refusal.

Under-eye fat repositioning is absolutely not a minor surgery.

So please look into many places, decide on surgery carefully, and if you are not satisfied with the surgical result,

or if a problem occurs or something goes wrong, I hope you have it done at a clinic with strong responsibility

and good management. I hope there will be no victims even after paying money.

This post was written based on the `consumer rights` guaranteed by our Constitution and the Framework Act on Consumers, and I state that it has no purpose of defaming the above medical institution beyond the purpose of sharing information and helping other patients.
