Before/after I don’t think the swelling was extremely severe even right after surgery. But there was some bruising, so it looked like I had drawn eyeliner, which felt a bit much. I had the stitches removed on day 7, and by around day 10 the bruising was almost all gone. The epicanthoplasty area is still a bit red and slightly bumpy. On my right eye (left side in the photo), the line is barely visible, but on my left eye it’s very visible ^^; I don’t know if the swelling hasn’t gone down enough or if it ended up asymmetric. I’m going to the clinic for a follow-up in 3 weeks, and I hope they look the same by then. Writing this review and looking at my pre-op eyes.. I can kind of understand why people were scared when I wore a mask lol Overall, I’m satisfied because my impression seems to have softened, and I just hope the asymmetry becomes even!
