Get rhinoplasty instead of filler—highly recommended

I had nose filler injected periodically for several years, but the more I got, the thicker my bridge seemed. From the front, the bridge looked wide, and from the side I had a slight hump, so although it had height, the line looked stiff and masculine. This bothered me more after I entered my thirties. I didn’t want a high nose; I wanted a soft straight line like Shin Se-kyung. My skin is extremely thin, so I never considered silicone from the start. While looking for a clinic that could create a natural straight line without an implant, I chose [Clinic A]. Dr. Lim Ji-hong examined my nasal skin and said that with skin this thin, an implant might become visible over time. So he suggested building the bridge with donor rib cartilage and adding a layer of donor dermis over the thin skin to prevent the outline from showing. He said the hump would not be shaved away completely, only the part that caught from the side would be refined, and the tip would be gently directed with ear cartilage. I had always thought one-sided difficulty breathing was normal, but an examination showed a deviated septum, so I also had functional rhinoplasty. I told them in advance about my previous filler, and they included that in the plan, which reassured me. It has now been six months, and my side profile has changed the most. The area where the hump was is flatter, the line from bridge to tip falls thinly in one straight line, and the slightly upturned tip makes it much more feminine. From the front, the bridge is narrower, so it no longer looks spread out as it did with filler. I was most worried about visibility because my skin is thin, but there has been none at all even at six months. The tip was somewhat firm at three months, but now even when I touch it, it feels like my own nose. The one-sided blockage hardly bothers me these days. The biggest change is that I no longer have to return for more filler whenever its duration ended. Since it was non-implant rhinoplasty, I gave up wanting height from the beginning, but ultimately that seems to have suited my face. Considering how much money I spent on filler, I don’t regret it at all. Now that six months have passed, the best thing is that I can live without thinking about my nose.
