Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

I thought only my square jaw was the problem, but my receding chin had a big impact too

When I looked at my face, the angles on both sides of my jaw stood out first, so I thought my square jaw was definitely the problem. But looking closely, my chin was also short and set back, making my lower face look wider and blunt. After consulting Dr. Lee Dong-hoon at The Pride, I had surgery for both my square jaw and chin contouring, the two-procedure package. What I wanted was not necessarily an ultra-slim V-line, but a face shape without the angular feeling, with the chin blending naturally into it. Looking at it now, doing the chin together with the square jaw was the right choice for me. The protruding angles at the sides have been refined, and because my chin now comes forward naturally, the shape of my lower face itself looks different. Before, from the front, the lower part of my face seemed to end in a square shape; now it narrows naturally toward the chin. It isn’t a sharply pointed chin, either, which I also like. In profile, the receding-chin impression is less noticeable, so the area around my mouth looks relatively less prominent and my jawline appears more smoothly connected than before. I used to think facial contouring was mainly about face size, but for me, the biggest noticeable change is that the awkward lower-face proportions caused by my square jaw and receding chin have been balanced. Now when I look at old photos, I understand why my jaw looked so wide...
