Smile Line review

I managed to book a Saturday 10 a.m. appointment with a hospital known for being extremely difficult to book, with just one phone call, and went there happily. I had high expectations, so I read many consultation reviews and watched the doctor’s YouTube videos from start to finish. The doctor’s double-eyelid method was to loosen the fixation along the same incision line to reduce the puffy sausage-line look, combined with ptosis correction to open the eyes more and make the crease sink in slightly. So I went expecting my eyes would be treated by loosening the crease too. (Otherwise, the only option was the double-line method, which I was reluctant to choose because, literally, two lines would remain.) As soon as I entered the consultation room, the doctor looked closely at my eyes for about a minute while giving commands like “Close your eyes,” “Open them again,” and “Raise your chin.” It was genuinely frightening; the room felt cold and completely quiet. Then the doctor bluntly told me that my fixation was not especially strong, so it could not be weakened further, and explained the key points about my eyes concisely over three or four minutes. In the end, loosening the fixation was not possible, and ptosis correction was the only option. I disliked having a high crease, so our opinions ultimately did not match. I will not have surgery here and will go to a clinic offering the double-line method instead. (I asked whether the double-line method was possible, but was immediately turned down—it seems the doctor personally dislikes it.) The consultation itself was genuinely helpful. The doctor was intimidating and could seem rude, but since the consultation was free, I simply said thanks. I was also impressed that, while other clinics used tablets, this doctor explained my crease with a pen on paper (positive). The consultation was helpful, and the doctor explained my eyes well, so I recommend visiting once.
