I had double-chin liposuction and muscle tightening surgery. The major swelling went down quickly, while the residual swelling seemed to keep decreasing for about six months. I only consulted with the coordinator, and after deciding on surgery, the consultation with the director was brief and took place just before surgery. The swelling after surgery was less than I expected, and I had almost no bruising, so I was satisfied. The double chin was definitely reduced, though I can’t say it disappeared completely;; the scars lasted quite a while and were still raised eight months later. Still, I had been worried about my double chin for a long time, so I’m satisfied enough that I would have the surgery again even if I could go back.
