Skin Botox review

I received full-face Skin Botox (dermotoxin) to reduce pores, improve overall skin texture, and soften fine lines. After applying numbing cream for about 40 minutes, the treatment was performed. Unlike regular Botox injected deeply into the muscle layer, this method uses shallow, closely spaced point injections into the dermis. The medication caused prickling and stinging across the face; it was not as painful as Rejuran, but still quite painful.

Downtime (injection marks and embossing) * Immediately after: Very fine embossing (small raised bumps), redness, and needle marks remained at each injection site. * Days 1–2: Most embossing subsided within half a day to a day, while minor bruises and tiny needle marks became coverable with makeup within 2–3 days.

Main course and effects * Days 3–7: About a week after treatment, the effects became clear. The skin surface became smooth like a peeled egg, with a firm tightening sensation. * Weeks 2–1 month: This was when the effects peaked. Pores around the central cheeks appeared smaller, fine lines were tidier, and the entire face felt taut and lifted. I especially liked that foundation adhered better and the texture looked clean without unevenness.

Drawbacks and side effects For two weeks after treatment, the area around the mouth or eyes may feel somewhat awkward when smiling or making facial expressions, and the jaw may feel stiff. It also lasts for a shorter period than regular Botox, so the effects gradually decline after about 2–3 months, creating the burden of repeat treatments.

Still, it is highly satisfying when you want to improve skin texture, pores, and fine lines quickly and achieve a smooth skin finish.
