It has only been 4 days since my arm liposuction, but I’m already so satisfied that I wanted to post a review!! I’m in my early 20s and generally slim, but no matter how much I diet, I only had fat on my upper arms, and it was so stressful seeing them bulge out. Every time I wore short sleeves or a sleeveless top, I worried about my arms, and even when choosing clothes I was always concerned about how they would look. I thought, “If it bothers me this much, I should just get liposuction,” so I did.
I didn’t really shop around for clinics; I chose this one as soon as I went for a consultation. I’m the type who needs to feel strongly drawn to a place, and I liked that the chief director personally examined my body type, checked it together with ultrasound, and gave me a thorough consultation. After speaking with the doctor, I consulted with the coordinator, who was truly kind, so I liked the place even more. Most of all, I was happy that I didn’t have to wear compression garments. I’m a girl who hates being uncomfortable..
Since I have a lot of fat distributed all around my arms, I had the Angel Line procedure! It seems like many people choose the Angel Line or Dress Line. The surgery was performed under sleep sedation. It hurt a little afterward, but I could take the subway and get home alone! The pain decreased noticeably from the next day, so I was completely able to manage daily life from day 2. It’s day 4 now, and I still seem to have quite a bit of swelling, but I already love the contour so much!!! I’m really looking forward to seeing how it looks once all the swelling goes down… I bruised rather badly, so I’ve been trying hard to stretch every day since day 2.
I tried wearing clothes I couldn’t wear before because my upper arms bulged out, starting on day 3, and I liked the contour so much that I spent the whole day looking in the mirror… I absolutely don’t want to go back to how I was before, so I’ve also been following my diet very diligently since right after surgery. Now that the area that used to stress me out has been refined, looking in the mirror makes me so happy. I think I can really call this my number-one most satisfying surgery. They say the swelling gradually decreases until 6 months, and I’m so happy thinking that I’ll look even prettier than I do now!!! Looking back, I feel I made the right choice by having the surgery with this doctor. I genuinely have zero regrets!!! If, like me, your upper arms are the only thing stressing you out, I recommend getting the surgery. I’m truly very satisfied.
