I'm a man, and I had it done in Gangnam about 2 years ago.
My nose was overall long and large, so I wanted to improve it. The surgery was done in two separate stages, so I went through the pain twice, but the result was ㅜ
First, as I remember, they raised the nasal bridge with silicone and raised the nasal tip with septal cartilage. Second, because my nose was wide horizontally, I had nostril reduction, and I think that was the problem.
They said the support holding up the columella weakened during the nostril reduction, so it came down a little... And I remember they had some difficulty during surgery because the tissue had become firm due to things like acne scars. I suspect maybe my skin is firm, so the force supporting the nasal tip couldn't hold up.
The consultant next to him kept saying I became handsome to flatter me... sighㅠ
From the start, none of the things I initially wanted to improve were resolved, like improving the nasolabial angle and making the nose look less long. It would be nice if the protruding-mouth appearance improved a bit.
Anyway... the doctor in charge said, "Your nose is indeed long, haha" (he admitted it right away). "Still, it's not to the point where you can't hold your face up and go around, right? ^^" he said.
It was absurd, but... I figured maybe that's just my condition, what can I do, so I've just been living with it.
Women I've met during that time would often say, "You'd be set if you got a nose surgery."
A female friend I met after a long time said the same thing again.
So I'm seriously thinking about trying revision surgery one more time.
Where would be good for a case like mine? I'm in Busan,
but if it turns out well, Seoul is fine too.
