It’s been about 4 years now.
Later, I also reduced the tooth size and moved them further inward.
It changed my life. My mouth line became really pretty too.
I guess I can see some facial asymmetry now that I hadn’t noticed before.
My aesthetic sense has improved too. Before, I was so conscious of my mouth
that I couldn’t take care of other areas well, but now I can.. I feel comfortable when I smile.
As someone who went through Class II malocclusion, I can say how bad it is.. I really had severe self-deprecating thoughts. I’d feel like I was falling apart whenever I looked in the mirror. Sigh. I’m so relieved now.
They put small screws called screws into the gums, shortened the gum length above and below, and my mouth went further inward too. But it didn’t make my philtrum look longer. Since smiling feels so much easier, I’m really happy.
But for the fundamental jaw instability, I’m planning to go to a jaw correction clinic.
