I was looking into surgery because I have rhinitis + a deviated septum, and I kept having pain that made daily life a bit difficult, so surgery was recommended to me. But I saw some reviews saying large hospitals feel like factories, and I was also more drawn to private clinics, so I went to ㅅㅅㅇ and ㄱㄴ. ㅅㅅㅇ hasn’t been open for very long, so it felt kind of ambiguous. I don’t like putting silicone in the nasal bridge, so I just wanted something natural that improves the functional part and raises only the nasal tip. But they said that if I don’t use silicone, it may not look smooth. Still, I don’t want something obvious, so I said I’d think about it for now. I went to ㄱㄴ Plastic Surgery because I heard they’re good at functional nose surgery. The consultation managers were similar to other clinics, but the doctor definitely felt different. He printed out photos of my face and explained while drawing on them. He said some unevenness could be visible, but he explained in detail that he would use the septal cartilage as much as possible. What bothers me a bit is that costal cartilage would need to be used. Do I really need to go that far?ㅠㅠ I also made an appointment to visit ㅈㅇㅈ, but I’m so torn.
