Before After 3-week review of Mentor Extra surgery My pre-op size was 70 AA ㅋㅋㅋ I had always thought about surgery because of my flat chest and had a lot of stress, but I felt burdened by surgery that involves inserting implants, and honestly, even without breasts(?) it didn’t interfere with living, so I couldn’t quite decide to get surgeryㅠㅠ As I started to enjoy exercising, I was feeling even more stressed about having a small chest. Right then, I met a close friend for the first time in a while and found out she had surgery with Mentor Extra. Her body type was very similar to mine, and when she had breasts, she looked so prettyㅋㅋㅋ So on the day we met, we went into the cafe bathroomㅋㅋㅋㅋ I even touched her post-op breasts, listened to her surgery review, and decided I should get the surgery. Because safety was absolutely my top priority, I decided I should do it at a hospital well known for breast augmentation and scheduled a consultation. It was important to me whether an anesthesiology specialist was on site and whether CCTV viewing was possible, and I also considered the director’s experience important. I chose this hospital also because I didn’t have to use drains after surgery and didn’t have to wear compression underwear. I wanted a full C, and when I consulted with the director, after measuring my breast pocket size, he said a full C would be just the right pretty size. We decided to proceed with dual-plane surgery through inframammary incisions, 350 cc on each side. Oh, there was also post-op care, and I added premium careㅋㅋㅋ So they said they would also do a scar injection on the day of surgery. On the day of surgery, before consulting with the director, I consulted once more with the consultant, and she carefully checked the key points related to surgery. Then I designed with the director, got disinfected, and went into the operating room. While lying on the operating table, they drew blood for the scar injection, (something about autologous blood..) I was extremely nervous about general anesthesia, but when I went into surgery, the anesthesiology specialist reassured me that he would be with me throughout the entire surgery and told me what medication was going in. Then he said, “I’ll put you to sleep now,” and I wondered, what if the anesthesia doesn’t work?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ But when I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room and had breasts that hadn’t existed beforeㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I got an IV in the recovery room, and about two hours later they inserted a pain-control injection and I was discharged. My friend came with me, and anyone getting surgery should really go with a guardian if possible .... After surgery, I was out of it and in pain, so I couldn’t even change clothes or open the taxi door, but my friend helped me change, picked up my medicine at the pharmacy, and even got me into the taxi, so it was comfortableㅠㅠ After I recovered, I bought her a meal.. because I was grateful. The whole taxi ride home was so painfulㅠㅠ I was really, really in pain until the next day, so I only slept, but starting around the afternoon the day after surgery, it gradually got better. Maybe it was the power of the pain-control injection.. Aside from the feeling of pain from being very swollen, it didn’t hurt much. I took Monday off, had surgery Friday afternoon, rested for three days on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and from Tuesday I went to work just fine. At one week after surgery, I went to the hospital, had the Dermabond removed, checked progress with the director, and received my first post-op care! The director said the upper fullness would be there until around the 3-month mark, so I didn’t need to worry too much, and told me to buy and wear a sports bra! The post-op care included a breast pack and LED care as the basic care, and because I added premium care, I also received lymphatic care. It was warm and so comfortable that I fell asleep while receiving it;ㅋㅋㅋ And it was the start of the Lunar New Year holiday, and my family home is in another region, so I took the train down. I thought I wouldn’t be able to go if it hurt, but by around one week, aside from my nipples being sensitive and discomfort from swelling, it didn’t hurt at all, so I visited home just fine! Honestly, I thought my mom would smack me on the back when I got home, but unexpectedly she didn’t say much. Instead, she said she knew I had been very stressed about my small chest, so why would she scold me, and she said my breast shape was so prettyㅋㅋㅋ I also met my friends and showed them my chest again. Since it was only one week, it looked very unnatural and was so tight it seemed like it might launch like a rocket, but everyone complimented me and said the shape seemed to have turned out so prettyㅠㅠ I went to buy a sports bra, and when they measured my size, it came out as 70D. Once the swelling goes down, it’ll probably become the full C I wanted!!!! Until one week after surgery, I was extremely swollen, it felt like my breasts might launch, my nipples were so sensitive that it hurt every time they rubbed against something, and they didn’t feel like breasts. From week 2, the swelling gradually started going down and both breasts are gradually getting closer together..ㅋㅋㅋ At 3 weeks, when I touch them, they have become much softer. Maybe I was lucky.. The pain passed faster than I expected, and the shape turned out so pretty that I’m really, really satisfiedㅠㅠ I think I understand why breast augmentation is said to have the highest satisfaction rate, and honestly, I think it’s best to do breasts as soon as possible.. The only thing I regret so far is not having done it a little earlier! I’ll bring another review.
