After thinking about it for years, I finally did it!
I live outside Seoul, so I went to a total of 5 places: three in Seoul and two in Busan! Maybe because the Busan clinics were in the same building, it seemed like they had set the same prices! At one place, they kept recommending a smaller sizeㅠㅠ The director seemed to prefer a natural look, and another place had a director who used a periareolar incision, but I had heard that periareolar incisions are not good, so I didn’t feel drawn to that clinic either. And since Motiva is currently the most famous implant, overall it seems like clinics implicitly recommend Motiva the most! The clinic where I decided to have surgery was the last one I visited. It was also a clinic my older sister strongly recommended, the price was the most reasonable, and when I looked at reviews, I thought the shape and feel seemed the best! When I touched all the implants, Mentor Smooth definitely felt the softest! I didn’t really understand why I needed to spend a lot of money on Motiva, so I decided on Mentor Smooth! Ah, even within Mentor there are Mentor Smooth Basic and Extra, and the feel was the same, but the fill rate was different, so the feel was very slightly different! I thought about choosing the newer implant, but there was a bit of a price difference, so I eventually went with Mentor Smooth! After consulting with the doctor, the maximum cc I could do was 375, but I thought I wouldn’t like my upper body looking too bulky, so after reading many reviews, I decided on 350! They said I could choose whichever incision location I wanted! I use my arms a lot for work, so I needed a fast recovery and wanted an inframammary incision, but in the past I had surgery through periareolar incisions to remove water cysts? on both breasts, so I didn’t want to end up with 4 scars on my breasts. That’s why I decided on a transaxillary incision! Fortunately, I got to take a month off work, so I’m recovering slowly! I really don’t think I could have gone back to work after only 3 days offㅠㅠ
On the day I went for the clinic consultation, even though I had made a reservation, I think I waited about 2 hours. I requested CCTV footage, but it wasn’t checked off, so I mentioned it on the day of surgery and paid the fee. I was supposed to visit the clinic a week before surgery to have blood drawn, an ECG, and other tests in advance, but this also hadn’t been booked, so they had me register again. None of the appointments I had arranged separately with the consultant had actually been made. That was very disappointingㅠㅠ Then surgery day came, and the original surgery start time was 2 o’clock, but I waited a lot then tooㅠㅠ At 2:40, I waited briefly in the recovery room and then went into the operating room. The moment when they look for a vein before surgery is the scariest time, but the nurses were calm and kind. I think I fell asleep within 3 seconds after the anesthetic went in! After surgery ended, a nurse guided me to the recovery room, and while I was lying there, it hurt so much..ㅠㅠ I guess I wasn’t one of the lucky ones with painless recovery.. Maybe because I had a transaxillary incision and accessory breast removal too, my entire arms were extremely numb and painful, and my breasts hurt too. Out loud, I kept saying, wow.. this hurts so much..ㅋㅋㅋ My older sister had surgery a week before me and was totally fine afterward and recovered quickly, so I thought I would be the same, but it was really hard..ㅠㅠ The anesthetic didn’t agree with me at all, so I felt extremely nauseous. On the premium bus, it was still okay because I could lie down, but once I got off it got much worse, and as soon as I got home I spent an hour in front of the toilet.. In the end I couldn’t vomit, and I barely fell asleep leaning against a backrest cushion. By the next day, the nausea was okay! In the morning, I woke up, ate porridge, and took my medicine.
Maybe because I had a transaxillary incision and accessory breast removal, my hands were extremely swollen, and my abdomen was so swollen that I wondered if it could really protrude this much. They told me to remove the pain pump when it reached 20, but when I checked the evening after surgery, it had gone down to 35. I got anxious wondering if I could keep it in until morning, so I went to the emergency room at dawnㅠㅠ I was too scared to remove it by myself. In the end I wasted 60,000 won… It took less than 5 seconds to remove the needleㅠㅠ sob
Because I really didn’t have much breast tissue to begin with, I still feel tightness from my collarbones down to my breasts, and there’s a lot of upper pole fullness, but once they gradually drop, I think I’ll be very satisfied! The shape also seems fairly nicely round. Until day 4, I slept sitting up, but it was so hard that I tried lying down and it seemed okay, so I slept lying down last night. But when I woke up in the morning, it hurtㅠㅠ I guess sleeping lying down for a long time is still too much! I still can’t lift my arms perfectly, but I think I can shower by myself!! I removed the gauze attached after accessory breast removal on day 3! In conclusion, I’m relieved that I seem to have chosen the clinic well, and I want the swelling to go down quickly so I can come write another review!!
