If you think your eyelid surgery went wrong, it may be better to get an early revision...

I have been researching rhinoplasty lately and visiting clinics, so I come to this community often. Since I am here, I will post a review of my eyelid revision before I go. My first double-eyelid surgery was incisional, and I had it quite a long time ago. So long ago that I can barely remember it... I had it right after becoming an adult. It was not terribly bad, but the asymmetry bothered me so much that this year I started looking into revision surgery. It was a large clinic, and they assured me it was a very easy surgery, saying it would only require a simple stitch. I thought techniques had advanced a lot and it would be better than before, so without much thought I booked surgery, quickly set a date, and had it done. The result is... you can probably tell from the photos, right? It was disastrous, haha. I had it done to correct uneven eyes, but instead the asymmetry got worse. Both lids became sausage-like, my eyes were hugely swollen, and I think they fixed the ptosis correction far too tightly: there was severe pulling and dryness, and I felt there was no way I could stay like this. Naturally, the clinic that operated on me said that because it was an incision, the swelling was severe and I should wait. But anyone could see these were botched eyes, haha. The crease was all distorted, the lids were sausage-like, and it was too serious, so I ultimately got early correction elsewhere... I had early correction just three weeks after surgery, with the chief director at Symphony, who is known for being good at early revisions. The after photo is my recent eyes at six months after the early correction. They look like normal human eyes again, right? Haha. The director said that for completely botched eyes like mine, early correction is actually better. They said the longer you delay, the harder it becomes to operate. They told me I had done well to come for early correction... Even I think it was a godsend... It is amazing how eyes can really make you look ten years older or ten years younger. I went back and forth between heaven and hell... I suffered so much because of my eyes that, while researching rhinoplasty lately, I am really doing thorough research. I do not want to make the same mistake again...
