I absolutely hated a boxy shape or excessive lateral canthoplasty, and I decided on surgery because I liked the shape the most. While I was at it, I also had lower eyelid fat repositioning. I saw many reviews saying that the suture fixation was neat and recovery was fast, but perhaps because I had it with lower eyelid fat repositioning, recovery took a long time. The conjunctival edema alone lasted a month. Ultimately, I like the canthoplasty shape. It has been over five years, and although it has reverted somewhat compared with the beginning, it is definitely still widened. Other than that, everything was a disadvantage.. There are limits to explaining it in writing, but please refer to the details below. 1. At first, when I smiled, the area where the stitches were fixed became deeply indented, but this disappeared over time. 2. When I open my eyes half-lidded, because the outer corner is fixed, wrinkles form toward the inner corner and create a strange shape. 3. My under-eye fullness remains the same when I smile, but it is different from before when my face is neutral. The part that supported the under-eye fullness when I looked downward became hollow, which caused wrinkles.. I used to have prominent under-eye fullness, but because of this I got filler. I told the clinic everything, but they said they did not touch the under-eye fullness and did not seem to understand what was different ^^; I felt that saying more would be useless, so I mentioned it a few times and gave up. Because I had canthoplasty and lower eyelid fat repositioning at the same time, it is difficult to clearly identify which surgery caused which result T_T Would it have been different if I had only had canthoplasty? Now, as time has passed, the above issues have become somewhat more natural, and I have supplemented them with filler, so I live without worrying too much about them. *It has been over five years since the surgery, so the price is not exact. It was approximately that amount.
