After breast augmentation, the first thing I threw away while organizing my closet was my mega-push-up pads. I used to treat them as almost essential whenever I wore a bikini, but I do not need them anymore...
I naturally had very little breast volume, so even when wearing summer clothes, I always packed pads first. With clothes on, I looked somewhat voluminous, but when I came home and removed the pads, it felt like suddenly returning to reality, which gave me quite a reality check T_T
But breast surgery was scary, so I only kept thinking about it. Then I saw that a close older friend had hers done at [Clinic A], and I was immediately swayed. She had originally been similar to me, but the shape was more natural than I expected, and the feel was nice when I touched it, so I also had a consultation and chose Mentor Boost.
I had an inframammary incision, and early on I was more conscious of moving my arms than my breasts. Everyday movements that I did without thinking were surprisingly uncomfortable, and I thought, ah... this is why people with an inframammary incision are told to be careful with their arms.
The feel has not reached the fully soft stage yet. It felt firmer than I expected when I touched implant samples, so at first I wondered whether it would harden like this, but my tissues are still loosening, so I plan to wait a little longer.
Still, the volume itself amazes me every time I see it lol. Before, I had to create nonexistent volume with bras and pads, but now my body itself has volume, so even the silhouette in clothes is different. I am gradually getting used to enduring the tightness of compression garments, and these days I am holding on by enjoying watching the shape settle...
I plan to go to a resort destination in winter, so I am most excited to wear a bikini then. I used to deliberate every day about where to hide 5 cm pads, but thinking I can wear one without that this time already makes me happy T_T
If I had to choose one regret, it would be why I did it after summer was already over. I spent years with my mega-push-up pads, but parted with them more easily than I expected lol
