Nose Surgery Reviews

[Clinic A] Autologous Costal Cartilage Nose Revision: 3-Month Review!!!

This is my 3-month review after autologous costal cartilage nose revision surgery~ I was very satisfied even when my nose was swollen after surgery, and I like it now too. I wondered how much prettier the line would become once the swelling went down, and it is already month 3. When I had nose surgery before, it was difficult because I felt short of breath and it hurt quite a lot, but I guess the doctor is extremely skilled~ There was not much swelling inside my nose, and the site where the costal cartilage was harvested stopped hurting in less than a week? It was before even 10 days had passed~ A younger acquaintance told me, “But why do my ribs hurt so much?? I absolutely cannot lie on the operated side.” My nose was small and T_T short T_T, and I had excessively high bridge silicone. My skin is also thin, so I was somewhat deliberating over which clinic to choose. What I liked most about [Clinic A] was that the doctor personally consulted with me about the surgical process and all overall aspects after surgery. At factory-style clinics, the doctor consults only very briefly and the consultation coordinator handles almost all of it. The coordinator is not the one performing surgery, after all... lol. I think this is really important. I was so surprised because the doctor identified the aspects I had been dissatisfied with as soon as seeing my face, before I even mentioned them. There may be many factory-style clinics that operate as if making patients from a mold, but I trusted the doctor's aesthetic sense, skill, and experience to achieve the best possible effect, and had surgery. Looking at my before-and-after photos, even though I lifted my chin more in the before photo, my face looks short and the nasal tip looks very rounded. In the after photo, the nasal line came out beautifully and the nasal length connects naturally, so even though I lowered my chin a bit, my face looks slimmer. A short nose was such a major insecurity for me that I thought it would definitely be best to lower the nasal tip, but that was only my misconception, lol. If the nose had been made too long, my midface would have looked long and I might have looked older. As expected... I think it is right for the doctor to decide, lol. Some people may think a clinic is good only if surgery must be done exactly according to a celebrity, AI image, trend, or their own standards. In technical terms, that may be true, but unless you plan to have nose revision surgery every time trends change, I think it is important to bring out the maximum beauty possible in your own face. If you get nose surgery every time trends change... your nose will be ruined... As I have gotten older... that is how my thinking has changed... lol. Thank you for reading this long post, and I hope it helps when you tour clinics for nose surgery!!!
