Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

Please look at my eyes (buried-suture eye fold)

After <photo from this morning> After <when eyes are closed> After It’s been 12 days since I had double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method, and maybe because I’m not usually prone to swelling, the post-op swelling went down well, and even after waking up it kept going down fast.

The clinic said I should allow a generous 6-7 months for even the minor swelling to fully go down, but at this rate it feels like it’ll become an inner double eyelid (I originally had inner double eyelids, so that’s not what I wanted).

Please ignore the eyeliner tattoo from 10 years ago. When I close my eyes like in the second photo, a line forms, so it looks worse than an incisional surgery. The eyelid is folded.

If I lift my forehead muscles and take a photo from below, you can see that it was pinched with the buried-suture method, and toward the outer corner it feels really tightly pinched? It hasn’t even been 2 weeks since surgery, so once the minor swelling goes down, can this fold smooth out..?

Every other place recommended ptosis correction too, and this place said to do only buried-suture double eyelids. Do you think it’s because I didn’t do ptosis correction, or because they didn’t do an incision to remove eyelid skin and just folded a lot?

I feel like revision surgery is inevitable, and I’m so stressed.
