Following my one-week review, I’m writing a two-week review! I’ll write comfortably about the nasal tip lifting issue.
First, the angle between the columella and philtrum has come down. My nostrils also show less.
In my last review, I said, “It lifted more after removal.” To get straight to the point, I’m sorry because I think that was not an accurate expression and may have caused anxiety.ㅜㅜ
First, I understood nasal tip lifting as more about the angle formed by the nasal bridge and nasal tip rather than the angle formed by the columella and philtrum. I thought a shape that rises upward like a saddle nose meant the nasal tip was lifted.
At some point after my nose surgery, when I lightly touched my nasal bridge by running my hand down from the top, I began to feel it rising from the point where the silicone ended, in other words, the entry area of the nasal tip. This bothered me quite a lot in daily life, to the point that touching my nasal bridge became a habit even unconsciously.
I thought it was bulging because of something inside, and I thought that if I removed it, it would at least become less bulging. But after removal, the bulging actually became more pronounced. So when I wrote my last review, I thought this meant it had lifted even more.
Then I realized that rather than it having lifted, the nasal bridge got lower because the silicone was removed, but the nasal tip did not lower along with it, so the difference seems to have become greater. The degree of bulging has not changed much from week one to now.
Regarding this raised bulging area, the director said, “That is your original nose.” My original nose did not have this kind of bulge.
I had no intention of arguing about it becoming more bulging or asking them to fix it; I just wanted to know what it was and what would happen going forward. Those were all my questions, but I only got defensive-feeling answers, so my questions were not resolved..
There are things I feel disappointed about now, but I do not regret the complete removal. Even if it looks unattractive, natural is best.
