About a month or two ago? I got lateral cheek filler at one of those places that pop up everywhere with promotions when you search filler on an app (note: the name is two Korean initials, and it is a plastic surgery clinic)
I was a total beginner and didn't know anything, so I got tempted by the reviews and ran there lol The consultation started. I only went in thinking I wanted to fill in my cheek hollows, but the consultant recommended a huge amount;;;;; I mean, even if I didn't know anything, I at least knew that getting too much volume at once can risk sagging ㅠ I instinctively felt that I shouldn't get talked into what this person was saying They recommended more than 2 cc per side and even said 3 cc would be fine so casually, so I said no and just asked for 1.5 cc each. Personally, I think even that is a lot ㅠ
Still, since the reviews were decent, I thought I could trust the doctor's skill, but in the end, I'm dissatisfied ㅠ The doctor really had that factory-style vibe, came in like the wind, did the procedure lightning-fast, and disappeared like the wind again There wasn't any molding or anything. Maybe because it was the lateral cheeks... hmm On the way home, I struggled to hold back tears because I immediately had this gut feeling that it was botched... When I looked at my face, my cheeks weren't plump; it felt like my facial bone structure itself had widened horizontally, and my face looked so big It felt like they didn't consider each person's facial shape at all and just injected it right away Now it's been a month, and thankfully it has gone down a bit (I got a domestic product), so it's bearable, but I will never set foot anywhere near that place again Don't be stupid like me and go just trusting reviews ㅠㅠ Brokers and edited photos are seriously everywhere. Search a lot on Naver cafes using the initials before you go (I also searched by the initials after getting it done, and the reviews were bad.. Regretting it now is useless, the water's already spilled..)
