I went to HT, and it was my first consultation round. First of all, my nose is really low, bulbous, wide, and small, so I am not aiming for anything flashy. I am just thinking of improving the shape nicely. For my face, I have a lot of cheek fat, plus a short and small chin, so my cheeks look puffy and I look like I have a recessed chin.
HT No consultation fee, CT taken. Consultation order was consultant - director - consultant. After the CT, I went into the consultation with the consultant. She took notes on a tablet and first asked what I wanted to fix, then looked at the CT images in detail and pointed out things like where it would be good to reduce, asymmetry, and rhinitis. That was when I learned for the first time in my life that my low nose also has an asymmetric hump She briefly explained what surgery it would be and what materials would be used, and the consultant was really, really kind. She recommended slight fat grafting to the under-eye dark circle area and chin tip. The director does not have event discounts, so it would be 450,000 won per area, but the doctor specializing in facial liposuction is 190,000 won, so she arranged for me to consult only with the director for the nose and switched the facial liposuction consult to another doctor. The consultant consultation took about 20 minutes, including the time she stepped out in the middle, and because the director's surgery ran long, I waited almost an hour before the facial liposuction doctor came in first.
The doctor gently pinched and examined the cheek fat and chin fat on my face, looked at the CT, and said there are different types of facial fat layers (they explained in detail, but I do not remember..). They said facial liposuction would not be effective for me and might actually make my current facial line collapse, so I should try another procedure first and then consider facial liposuction They said the patient they had just operated on right before me was the same case as mine, so they were telling me from experience. I trusted them because they seemed really skilled and professional, but I was very sad,,,, Still, I recommend a consultation for anyone interested in facial liposuction.
After waiting again, the director came in, and he looked very busy. It felt like he had finished surgery and went straight into back-to-back consultations. Like an error note, he listened to the things I wanted to fix, wrote them all down, then wrote how each would be corrected one by one. He showed me with a cotton swab how the nasal tip would look, and when I showed him photos of my desired nose, maybe because I had brought photos that were not too high and had a pretty shape, he explained with confidence that it would be fully possible to make it look like the photos, so I was tempted. The consultation ended in 5 minutes, and I did not mind whether it was long or short, but one disappointing thing was that maybe because he was so busy and hectic, he only told me about the hump and how many mm of silicone I would need after I asked. I could not think of more questions, and I had learned what I needed, so I just ended it, but the director answered everything I asked and was kind, so everyone, ask a lot of questions
From what I remember, it was nasal bridge (slightly shave the hump and silicone 3 mm), nasal tip (donated costal cartilage + ear cartilage), slight removal of nasal fat, and nasolabial angle correction. The cost was 6.15 million won after adding everything based on what the director wrote on the tablet, but the consultant said she could discount it at her discretion, so it came out to 4.4 million won (review + before-and-after photos). For surgery volume, surgeries that take 2-3 hours are 4 per day, and if smaller surgeries are included, 4+a. After surgery, cotton packing is removed on day 1, and splint and stitches are removed on day 7, for a total of 2 visits. When I asked if the director does it personally, they said he does check, but it seems someone else removes them. They said they provide aftercare, swelling laser, injections, and similar services if wanted, and the AS period is 1 year, but things like inflammation can be treated anytime, and extra costs occur if additional materials are needed.
Since this was my first consultation round, I do not think I asked many questions. The director and consultant both seemed fine, but it bothered me that they seem to do more surgeries and consultations than I expected I need to look around a lot more.
