Hello. I ended up getting nose surgery at ㄹㅂ Plastic Surgery while also having a forehead lift for entropion. (See the forehead lift review: https://sungyesa.com/new/bbs/board.php?bo_table=walk&wr_id=26140) Since childhood, my septum has been deviated to the right, so I consulted Director ㄱㅇㅅ about the 3 types of functional rhinoplasty (inferior turbinate reduction, septoplasty, and nasal valve reconstruction). In the case of nasal valve reconstruction, a columellar incision had to be made, so since I was already doing that, I thought I might as well get nose surgery too and consulted about that as well.
First of all, my nose was a large nose, with the shape of a long nose, bulbous nose, and aquiline nose, and my nostrils were so large that a coin could fit inside them. Because I dislike foreign materials, I decided to do dorsal augmentation using dermis from between the buttocks and thigh, plus ear cartilage.
I had the 3 functional nose procedures (inferior turbinate reduction, septoplasty, nasal valve reconstruction), correction of the long/bulbous/aquiline nose, alar reduction, osteotomy, and dorsal augmentation with dermis/ear cartilage.
The estimate for the nose surgery was around 8.5 million won, and with the forehead lift and everything else, I paid a total of 15.5 million won. For the 3 functional procedures, I filed an actual-expense insurance claim and received reimbursement, and since I also had personal health insurance, I was able to receive insurance money, so that was a great deal.
Even without using silicone, the bridge became moderately higher, and my previously large nose became neatly slimmer, so I’m satisfied. Most of all, my airway opened up well, so breathing became much easier!
Please note that Director ㄱㅇㅅ has now moved to ㅂㅇㅇ Clinic
