Around 2012, I had my first rhinoplasty (septal cartilage + silicone), and about 2 years later, my nasal tip drooped a little, so I had only ear cartilage additionally placed in the nasal tip at the same hospital.
At first it was very good, but nearly 10 years have passed, and as I’ve gotten older, the fat around my nose has decreased, making my nose look quite pointy and increasingly artificial.
I have had no symptoms at all such as inflammation, side effects, or contracture.
I’m thinking of removing only the ear cartilage placed in the nasal tip (leaving the septal cartilage as is). Since a long time has passed, would removal be difficult? If I remove only the ear cartilage, I’m curious whether it will return to the nasal tip after my first surgery, when only the septal cartilage and silicone were in place and it was slightly drooped and more natural.
