What I got from dieting was better clothes fit; what I lost was my breasts. I ended up deciding on Glovi after going around in person because I was so set on breast fat grafting. The surgery that started with breast fat grafting... after getting consultations here and there, I became more tempted by liposuction... While deciding after setting the surgery date, I also started wanting to do the flabby skin under my arms and the lower part under my butt, so I ended up having a surgery where the priorities got completely reversed.
After arriving at the clinic, checking in, taking photos, measuring the compression garment size, it was time to meet Director Nam! The doctor drew all over and designed it for me. Maybe because I was nervous, I started chatting nonstop to the doctor! Haha, listing every procedure I had done on my face... total word-vomit. Still, the doctor kindly listened to everything and even replied.
The nurses in the operating room were kind, and because I was so tense I started talking nonsense again -- Then when I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room, and I could see the friend who came to pick me up. Haha, still woozy from anesthesia, I lifted my gown and showed my friend my breasts right after surgery... * Because of the anesthesia, you never know what you might do, so make sure to ask someone you are very comfortable with to pick you up.
After that, the doctor came by and said they had put in 300 or 330 mL into each breast, but I was still under the effects of anesthesia so I don't remember well.... There were a lot of places where fat had been removed, so it took about 3 and a half hours, they said. Doctor, nurses, you really worked so hard for such a long time! Thank you again!
* Since I was still dazed, my friend got my medication from the pharmacy for me, but remember that medications for plastic surgery are not covered by insurance and are insanely expensive~
On the day of surgery, I didn't feel any pain because of the anesthesia, but blood-tinged fluid kept coming out. And because of the anesthesia medication, by dawn I started feeling increasingly nauseous and extremely thirsty. I woke up thirsty in the middle of the night and went out to the living room, and for a moment I felt dizzy, and when I opened my eyes I was on the living room floor. * I do not recommend sleeping alone on the day of surgery ㅜㅜ * Since blood-tinged fluid keeps coming out, make sure to lay down a towel before sleeping!
The pain started from day 2... I went back to the hospital to have the bandages removed, and I was completely nauseous inside. They took off the bandages, put on the compression garment, and... I went to work. It was hard, but there was an event I absolutely had to attend ㅜㅜ Day 3 still hurt, and from day 4 onward the pain gradually decreased, but the bruises kept moving farther down toward the ends of my limbs. On day 5 the bruising in my arms passed my hands, and on day 6 it went past my fingers. I was desperate, so I bought everything the pharmacy had that was supposed to be good for swelling, dumped it into pumpkin juice, drank it, and started applying bruise cream.
By around week 2, the big bruises started fading little by little. Now in week 3, my arms and legs still feel stiff, but looking at my breasts, the painful memories are slowly fading away in a good way~~
I should have compared before and after photos, but stupidly I don't have any pre-surgery pictures ㅜㅜ
