I had my second surgery at this hospital using donated costal cartilage, and 3 months later inflammation developed, so they removed only the donated costal cartilage. Then 1 year later, in March of this year, I paid 2.3 million won and had my third revision surgery using autologous costal cartilage. But blood and yellow discharge kept coming out of my nose again, so I went in, and they said the cartilage inside my left nostril had bent and pierced through, leaving the cartilage exposed. So I went into surgery, had part of it removed, and was waiting for the mucous membrane to cover it. Even so, although it’s less than before surgery, blood and yellow discharge are still continuing to come out, and the mucous membrane is covering it so slowly. So I asked if it wasn’t inflammation, and the director kept saying exactly, “It doesn’t seem to be inflammation.” But even now, a month and a half later, it’s still like this, so I said, almost arguing, that it’s too hard and asked them to please tell me honestly. And now they’re saying it’s inflammation of the autologous costal cartilage… lol… ha… So because there was inflammation, they removed one side of the autologous costal cartilage that had shifted or something, and they said part of it is still left. So I asked whether there is inflammation now or not, and they said there isn’t any major inflammation, just small bits, so we have to watch it… sigh So I asked, when they went back into surgery, shouldn’t they have removed everything then? And they said that if they had, my nose would have gone back to its original state and all the effort they had put in up to now would have disappeared, so they left part of it in. That’s how they talked… ha… And now they’re saying they’re sorry… And then they said to come back in a month and we’d check again, and the conversation ended. At first, the director was asking me if I had bumped into something and blaming things like that, kept not telling me the truth, and now they’re saying this. I’m honestly so angry right now and I don’t know what to do. I’m so depressed, and I don’t even know how many times my nose has been opened here. I really want to die… If there is even a little inflammation, I should remove everything, right?ㅠㅠ My nose doesn’t even look like I had it done now, and if I remove it again I have to wait 6 months.
