Before-before-after-after Liposuction areas: thighs/buttocks/love handles
There is still swelling, but I like the subtly changed lines, so I’m leaving a review! I had a lot of concerns about my inner thighs, above the knees, and especially my buttocks. When I wore tight pants, my buttocks looked spread out, and the under-buttock line would crease.. Even when I bought pants, the waist fit, but the buttocks would pinch unattractively? Because of that, I eventually looked into liposuction.
Since I live outside Seoul, I looked mainly for places where consultation and surgery could be done on the same day and places with good reviews, and I found a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong. From the first phone call, they were so kind that I booked feeling good about it, and they also sent me unedited review photos of someone with a body type similar to mine, so I trusted them more and wanted to do it quickly haha (screenshot of a chat room where the person who had surgery directly sent before-and-after photos to the manager)
As soon as I visited, I first picked up the medication, then went in for photo-taking and consultation. Looking at the photos they took, they even caught unattractive areas I hadn’t noticed myself, and since I visited in the afternoon, I thought the consultation might be rushed. But they consulted with me more leisurely than I expected, so I felt at ease. And in the middle, I hadn’t thought about my card’s daily payment limit, so I panicked when paying, but they said it was okay and waited for me, which I was grateful for ㅜㅜ
The surgery.. aside from being cold when they sprayed the disinfectant, I slept deeply and woke up to find it was over, so there wasn’t anything difficult. Right after it ended, they moved me to a warm bed and I fell asleep again, and when I opened my eyes, I was surprised it was night and was touched. Usually, when it’s late, you get the feeling they’re rushing, you know. Since it was an afternoon surgery, I went in expecting to be discharged in a hurry while half-asleep, but they didn’t wake me until I woke up on my own. They carefully did the dressing, wiped my body, checked my temperature, measured my blood pressure, and even completed a blood test before sending me home. I almost asked them to send me home quickly instead lol I was really grateful.
And people say thighs hurt the most, so I was really worried. In the past, I had arm liposuction at another hospital and it hurt so much that I cried as soon as I opened my eyes. But with my thighs, it didn’t hurt even when I put on the compression garment on the day of surgery! I think pain varies by hospital and by person. On the day of surgery, I walked and climbed stairs just fine. My legs felt heavy, and as I walked they got stiff, so my pace did slow down.. haha If you’re worried, there are quite a few accommodations near the hospital too, so I recommend reserving one and doing it!
My thighs got even puffier because of the swelling, but I can already see my buttock shape changing from square to round. If you’re concerned about your thighs, I think it would be good to look into it when the weather is cool like these days.
