It felt like he had a nose shape he wanted more than the nose I wanted? Before this, at ㅍㄹㅈ and ㅍㄹㅁㅇ that I visited last year, and this time at ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ and ㅇㄴ, I had never heard anyone tell me to do nostril reduction and silicone for the nasal bridge. Even when I said that without an implant the event discount would apply and that I disliked implants so I wanted no implant, he said I needed to put in 1 mm of silicone. (He really emphasized customized nasal bridge silicone.) He said nostril reduction could be done separately 6 months after surgery, but that my nose needed it, so he recommended doing it together. The staff were like that too, and the gifts or letters the director had received were in the clinic, so it felt like a clinic with a human touch? lol They only operate on 2 people a day, and maybe because there are only 2 directors, there was no wait. I got a CT scan and after about 10 minutes? the director came, calmly asked first about the nose shape I wanted, and explained the limitations. He also suggested a surgical method while showing cases similar to my actual nose! Also, the director himself was very gentle and I could feel that he had good character, so I trusted him for now. When I said I wanted no implant for the nasal bridge, he said it was possible but recommended donated dermis. He said he would place a little at the step-off that forms when raising the nasal tip. The quote was artificial dermis for the nasal bridge + ear cartilage and septal cartilage for the nasal tip + osteotomy, in the late 4 million won range. He said if silicone was used instead of dermis, it could be done in the mid 3 million won range.
ㅇㄴ - Director ㄱㅅㅎ The clinic atmosphere had a lot of foreign patients, but it wasn’t chaotic. As soon as I arrived, I got a CT scan, the consultant looked at my nose first, and then I waited for the director. I think there was a wait here too, about 50 minutes? As the reviews said, the director was chic but seemed confident, and he first asked what kind of nose I wanted and what kind of vibe. When I mentioned no implant, he said it could be done, and I trusted him because he honestly said osteotomy and nostril reduction were not necessary! I liked it best because it felt like there was no overtreatment. He said that when raising the nasal tip, he would thinly layer ear cartilage at the step-off that forms, so he would use cartilage from both ears. He said if I send photos of the nose shape I want, he prints them out and puts them up in the operating room, so I feel like he will reflect the shape I want well. I don’t believe all review photos, but it felt like there wasn’t much randomness in the surgery results? He seemed skilled, and I heard this director also does 2 surgeries a day. In the end, I decided to do it at ㅇㄴ, paid the deposit, and left! I’m sure the directors at the first two clinics are skilled too, but ㅇㄴ felt the cleanest and the least like overtreatment. Of course, the price difference was also nearly 2 million won.. After more than a year of researching online and visiting clinics, I realized that you immediately get a sense of, ‘Ah, I can leave it to this director’ lol I’ll post a review after surgery.
