Eye and Nose Consultation Rounds at ㅂㅇㅂ, ㄱㄴ Plastic Surgery + venting..

1. ㅂㅇㅂ It was my first plastic surgery consultation after coming to Seoul, so since it was my first time, I was a bit clueless. The waiting time wasn’t that long. I went early, so it finished much earlier than the expected time. I had a consultation with the director, and the consultant listened in next to us too. Is that usually how it is,,?? The director’s consultation was kind. I wanted to avoid autologous costal cartilage or donated rib cartilage if possible. The size of my septum was okay, but it was too deviated, so he did recommend rib cartilage, but he didn’t force it. He said he would straighten the septum as much as possible and do it ㅋㅋㅋ The director’s consultation was just so-so. Later, when I talked about the estimate with the consultant, she asked me how much I had in mind when I came. I didn’t really know, so I said somewhere in the 4 million won range, and with a review-writing event and whatever, she discounted it and said she would match it to 4 million won for osteotomy + long nose + deviated nose + nasal tip (ear cartilage, septum) … Functional nose surgery would be a separate cost. It somehow felt like she kept testing the waters. Since I haven’t been to other clinics, I don’t know if it’s cheap or not.

2. ㄱㄴ I’m waiting right now. My appointment was at 1, but I had a consultation with the consultant around 1:50.. The consultant was kind. But here, they also recommended silicone. I said I only wanted the nasal tip done, but they kept recommending it. Well, it probably would look prettier with silicone in, but… Anyway, at first, the eye director came in and did the consultation. It definitely seemed like he examined things carefully. My outer eye corners turn upward, but I have a bit of sanpaku eyes, so I was considering posterior canthoplasty, but he didn’t really recommend it. So I gave up. The eye consultation was kind and good. I didn’t really have much to ask about the eyes, so I didn’t ask a lot.

I need to have the nose consultation, but it’s already been two hours since I got to the clinic and I still haven’t met the nose director ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ;; They said he’s in surgery. I expected some waiting time, but I’m wondering if it’s right to make me wait enough to mess up my schedule. Even when making the appointment, I asked about the waiting time because of my schedule, and I ended up moving the clinic appointment I had afterward. The more I think about it, the more annoyed I get.. I’m bored, so I’m venting..

+ Oh, and the staff member who took the CT scan kind of spoke while sighing? Their tone was… I felt a bit bad at that time. Anyway, I’ll leave a review after the consultation.. again
