Review of Lower and Outer Canthoplasty + Epicanthoplasty

I hated how my eyes slanted upward, so I always covered it with makeup, but it was such a hassle and took so long to do my makeup that I decided to get lower and outer canthoplasty. In photos, the space between my eyes seemed to look a bit wide, so I got epicanthoplasty at the same time.

I arrived a little earlier than my consultation time, and they guided me kindly. Before seeing the director, I had a consultation with the consultant first, and it was nice because she explained everything in detail, including the things I was curious about and the surgical method. The director explained the surgical method once more, and it made me trust them. I wanted to get the surgery quickly, so I scheduled it for the earliest available date, which was 2 weeks later!

After the surgery, it was hard to open my eyes and the world looked tilted, so I think it would be good to go with a guardian. The bruising and swelling lasted from the day of surgery for about 2 weeks. I also had severe conjunctival edema in one eye and some bleeding, but that also improved a lot after 2 weeks, so I could go about daily life!

It’s so convenient not having to spend as much time on lower-eyelid makeup as before. People around me also say they think I did well!
