There was some pressure to book on the same day, but when I said this was my first consultation today, they said they would wait about 1 week and do it at the same price, and told me to call within 1 week. We didn’t talk specifically about things like the surgery schedule. Director) I liked that the line he held up looked natural, but the consultation wasn’t very long. He just looked from the outside and said my eyes could be done with either non-incisional or incisional surgery. So I was recommended non-incisional ptosis correction + an inner double eyelid.

2. ㄱㄴ / Director ㅇㄱㅎ (No consultation fee) I made a reservation and went after seeing someone else write in their consultation review that the director gives thorough consultations, and I liked the review photos. Consultant) Again, there was no separate line-holding, and there was a little pressure to book on the same day, but Director ㅇㄱㅎ has so many bookings that it was to quickly secure a date. I ended up making a same-day booking and leaving. I plan to have surgery here. Director) They say he is a director famous for revision surgery, and since revision surgery is said to be more difficult, I trusted him. I went to consultations at 4 places in total, but he was the one who directly held my forehead or touched the fat around my eyes while explaining in detail, saying things like this won’t work because of this, and eyes like this should be handled this way. He listened to my needs as much as possible and explained specifically, while keeping it as natural as possible without overcorrecting.

3. ㅈㅇㅈ / Director ㅇㅇㅈ (No consultation fee) I went for a consultation because I heard they are famous for doing men’s eye surgery well. Consultant) The worst consultant. She first asked where else I had consultations and how much I was quoted, pressured me very strongly to book on the same day, and when I tried to leave without booking, her tone suddenly turned cold and she didn’t even say goodbye when I left. (The consultation manager didn’t greet me as I was leaving the clinic, so another consultant greeted me lolololol.) In the end, the quote was the highest price I had been quoted. She held up an eye line for me, but used a toothpick, so my skin stung. Director) It was fascinating because the person I had been watching diligently on YouTube came out for the consultation. He said he doesn’t really prefer incisions, and explained the surgical method thoroughly using a partial-incision approach. I was really satisfied with the director’s consultation, and I could see he was confident. He kept holding up the line multiple times and continued answering my questions. So I was a bit swayed. But I felt like the consultant’s attitude treated me too much like just money, so I left without booking.. That part was disappointing.

4. ㅅㅅ / ㅅㅈㅎ (No consultation fee) I had only been going to consultations at large clinics, but I heard it was good to visit a private clinic too, so I went. Consultant) She was the best consultant among the 4 places I visited. The director was in surgery, so the waiting time was the longest. The consultant held up an eye line for me, but this place also used a toothpick to hold the line, so I was a bit annoyed. For the first time, I was recommended an epicanthoplasty to improve my Mongolian folds. There was absolutely no pressure to book on the same day, and they said that if I decided and contacted them within February, they would proceed at the event price.. But because the price included epicanthoplasty, it was the most expensive. Director) Even though he had just come from surgery, he consulted kindly without seeming tired. The consultation was the shortest, but the director recommended the epicanthoplasty that the consultant had suggested just by looking at the written notes. It was a bit disappointing because there wasn’t any precise checking process? like holding my forehead or touching the fat around my eyes; he just held up the line.

This is my review after going around for consultations because I decided to get eye surgery during my leave of absence after thinking about it for 7-8 years. In the end, I decided to have surgery at ㄱㄴ Plastic Surgery, and I’m waiting with both anxiety and excitement. Maybe because the director is so famous, the surgery schedule was quite backed up. It’s been almost a week since my consultation, but there are still roughly 10 days left until surgery.
