I was really stressed because I had a low nose and protruding mouth. It was decided in a rush before the semester started, so I went to one place through an acquaintance’s recommendation, liked it, and decided right away. Considering it was a hospital I chose in a hurry, the surgery ended well and I’m very satisfied with the result. I guess I was also very lucky.
The photos are still from days 7 and 9, so it will probably come down more once the swelling goes down.
Days 1-3 After midnight, my nose gradually started hurting, then it hurt all through dawn, and because I was breathing through my mouth, I couldn’t sleep at all. On day 2, after the hospital removed the nasal packing, it seemed a bit better, but the nose pain was severe, so I also got a pain-control injection. I walked for 1 hour every day. Because I lacked sleep, I also got a headache and chillsㅠ
Days 4-6 The pain gradually decreased. I kept walking regularly and also did ice packs. I drank a lot of water, but my throat kept hurting, probably because of the endotracheal intubation. Yellow bruising gradually became visible, and the area with the splint was so itchy I thought I’d go crazyㅠ
Day 7 The day the splint came off! Removing the stitches and splint didn’t hurt at all. When I looked in the mirror, it came out so pretty. The bruising was lighter than expected and didn’t come up much.
Days 8-10 I washed my face for the first time, and there was sebum on my nose... They said I could wear makeup, so I did, and I’m so satisfied and happy!
