Height 153 / 51 kg, underbust 80 / breast base width 13. What I wanted was not an overly obvious bust, but a natural U-to-U line and about a full C to D cup. Since I have a small frame, I did not want to go excessively large; the most important thing was proportions that suited my body.
While researching breast surgery, I looked into various implants and ultimately decided on 340 cc Motiva implants. During the consultation, I first explained the size and shape I wanted, and we discussed what would be appropriate based on my current breast condition. From photos, rather than breasts that were only full at the top, I wanted fullness that continued naturally down to the lower portion and a nicely defined cleavage from the front.
I had also been concerned about accessory breast tissue, so I had it removed along with the breast surgery this time. I thought that if only my breasts changed, the sides might stand out even more, so it would be better to do both together. Before surgery, I was a little worried that recovery would be harder if I also had the accessory breast tissue removed, but it was not as uncomfortable as I expected.
The first few days after surgery were, of course, not comfortable. My breasts felt heavy, and movements involving wide use of my arms were uncomfortable. I was worried that moving my arms incorrectly would create a pulling sensation, so I stayed as still as possible for a while.
Now it looks much more natural than it did at first, and I like the overall proportions. Since it was 340 cc, I initially worried the size might be bigger than expected, but now that I have had it done, it seems to have turned out to be the full C to D look I wanted, so I am satisfied. When I wear clothes, the best part is that my breasts do not look like they are protruding separately; instead, the volume suits my body.
It was also nice that I could keep talking about the direction I wanted from the consultation with Dr. Kim Woo-jung onward. Even after surgery, I am watching the gradual settling process during follow-ups. I was told it could still change because it is not fully finished yet, so I am not rushing. When I first researched surgery, I deliberated a lot over whether 340 cc would suit me, but so far I think I chose the size well and made the right decision to address the accessory breast tissue too.
