Before the consultation, they took photos and a CT scan. The doctor displayed the CT scan and compared it with my face while examining it. Rather than commenting only on the visible contour, the doctor explained even the amount of fat beneath the surface using the CT scan, which actually made it easier to understand. I had only thought that I had a bit of a double chin, but the doctor pointed out on the CT scan, one by one, how much fat there was in this area and how another area had relatively less. Since I could see it directly on the CT scan instead of only hearing an explanation, it was easier to understand! It also made much more sense why liposuction could create a change, haha.
Of course the result was important to me, but my face tends to swell first whenever I am even a little tired… so I was most worried about the swelling from facial liposuction after surgery. However, I did not have much swelling or bruising after surgery. I followed every swelling-management method the clinic told me, and diligently used a compression garment and managed my daily routine, so the swelling went down quickly!! Before facial liposuction, I always avoided profile photos, but now even in three-quarter photos, the line from my jaw to my neck looks clearer than before. My face also somehow looks smaller?? Overall, I feel like I have a more delicate look, so I am satisfied, haha.
