I had it done about 10 years ago, when buried-suture double-eyelid surgery was overwhelmingly popular. However, they recommended an incisional procedure, so I had that done. People said the swelling from an incision would be severe, but my swelling was not that bad. Friends who had buried-suture procedures back then have now had their double eyelids come undone and undergone revision surgery again, whereas I have not needed revision surgery. I suddenly decided to do it back then, so I did not decide on the height in millimeters or which line I wanted; I simply left everything to the doctor, and it turned out to suit my face shape perfectly. Even now, more than 10 years later, I have absolutely no intention of having double-eyelid surgery again. Double-eyelid line trends change with the times, but I am satisfied because I think mine was made to suit my face well.
