The double eyelids on my father’s side of the family are pronounced. But the characteristic is that everyone has monolids when they are young. As their baby fat goes away, they become very pronounced. I had two double-eyelid creases from middle school onward. I could not stand it any longer and used double-eyelid tape, but on days I went without it, people asked, Did you not use double-eyelid tape today? So I got double-eyelid surgery. The conclusion: satisfied. Even though I only got double eyelids, people ask whether I had outer-corner widening and other procedures. My eyes are wide horizontally and my eyelashes are fairly long. Double-eyelid surgery is not bad.
