Eye Surgery Reviews

I had Mint thread lifting + septal reinforcement under-eye fat repositioning with Dr. Han Dae-hee

It has now been about a month since my procedure, so I am leaving a review. I was not someone with a particularly full face, but at some point the area below my cheeks and around my mouth started to look saggy, which made my face look very heavy. Especially as my jawline became blurred, my face looked bigger even from the front, and from the side it felt as if the jawline had collapsed downward T_T. So I initially looked only into a light lifting procedure, but ended up getting Mint thread lifting. While consulting about my under-eyes as well, I also had septal reinforcement under-eye fat repositioning! Looking in the mirror during the consultation, I realized my under-eyes were worse than I had thought T_T. The fat that protruded when I smiled was noticeable, and even at rest I looked tired; do you know that feeling where it becomes even more noticeable when you smile? I did not want even my aegyo-sal to disappear, so I wanted surgery that would preserve the existing aegyo-sal as much as possible while correcting only the protruding lower under-eye fat. The biggest reason I chose Edition Plastic Surgery was that Dr. Han Dae-hee considers Mint thread lifting and under-eye fat repositioning together, rather than separately, creating harmony across the entire face in balance with the facial features. In particular, I was drawn to septal reinforcement under-eye fat repositioning because it was described as a method that organizes under-eye fat while preserving the appearance of aegyo-sal as much as possible! I had many worries and asked all sorts of questions, but Dr. Han focused on only the necessary areas without overdoing it, so I was able to feel reassured before surgery. During the first few days after the procedure, my face felt slightly tight and there was under-eye swelling, but daily life was not as difficult as I expected; it was more like mildly uncomfortable. On the lifted side, there was a tight sensation at first, and over several days I could see the contour gradually settle. As the under-eye swelling went down, the previously bulging area also started to look much flatter! At one month, the effects of the Mint thread lifting seem to have appeared naturally. It does not look awkwardly pulled tight; rather, my lower face looks lighter and my V-line seems more defined than before! My facial contour used to seem to collapse downward, making my jawline look dull, but now my face looks smaller and my lower face feels lighter T_T. Dr. Han said during the consultation that it was important to shape things naturally to suit my face, and after a month I now understand exactly what that meant. And to give the conclusion first on the septal reinforcement under-eye fat repositioning that you may be curious about: I am extremely satisfied. The difference is more noticeable when I am bare-faced. I am even more satisfied because the concern that my aegyo-sal might disappear turned out fine! I wondered whether I would have to address facial sagging and my under-eyes separately, but doing it with Mint thread lifting makes my entire face feel lighter at once, which I love. I no longer need to apply concealer thickly under my eyes as before when I wear makeup, and my lower-face V-line is clearer, so photos turn out much better—you know what I mean! Ah! Since having septal reinforcement under-eye fat repositioning, the excessive bulging under my eyes when I smile has decreased, and this is what satisfies me most T_T. It has only been one month, so I expect more residual swelling to subside and the contour to look even more natural with time. Rather than only refining my lower face with Mint thread lifting, I also see effects under my eyes at the same time through septal reinforcement under-eye fat repositioning, so the whole mood of my face has changed and I am very satisfied. From the consultation onward, I told Dr. Han that rather than changing my face excessively, I only wanted to refine the areas that made it look congested. Thanks to the surgery being done well in the direction I wanted, I have been feeling happy every day T_T. Above all, even though I had both procedures, my face did not seem to change suddenly, so it did not feel burdensome. Dr. Han also explained the recovery process and the order in which swelling would subside in advance, so I could watch the process without becoming unnecessarily anxious. If it is already this good at one month, I am even more excited for what is ahead!! I think many people like me may be deliberating over what surgery to have because of facial sagging or under-eye fat. I hope my review helps even a little with your decision! Before surgery, I also spent a great deal of time looking through reviews and deliberating T_T… I hope my experience can be a useful reference for anyone with similar concerns!
