Hi everyone! It has already been three months since my nose surgery, so I came to write a review! Before surgery, my nose was truly a complete mess. The hump was so severe that my bridge looked sharply bent from the side, and from the front, my nasal tip area was extremely wide, like a fist, a typical huge bulbous nose... The hump made my impression look harsh, and the wide bulbous nose made me look stuffy, which was so stressful. I went around researching clinics and then got surgery, haha. At [Clinic A], I went all in with a SoFit custom implant + bulbous-nose correction + hump correction + osteotomy + alar reduction + autologous costal cartilage full course! Because my bridge had a hump and an uneven shape, I was scared that a ready-made silicone implant might sit away from the tissue or look obvious. So after consulting with the doctor, I chose SoFit, which is produced in 3D to precisely match the shape of my nasal bones. Since it is customized for my nose, the close, snug fit is incredible! At first, because I had osteotomy and autologous costal cartilage at the same time, I had some swelling and bruising for the first few days. But perhaps because it was SoFit, the swelling around the bridge settled much faster than expected. Once much of the major swelling had gone down at one month, I started to see the line where the hump had been bent become completely refined and smooth! Now, haha, the alar reduction and bulbous-nose correction worked so well that it is hard to believe this was the bulbous nose with such a huge nasal-tip area. The nasal tip became delicate and slim, and the autologous costal cartilage provides firm support, creating an elegant line! All traces of the hump that had looked bent have completely disappeared. One small tip: for everyone here with a wide nasal-tip area and a hump, simply adding height is absolutely not enough. You need to go to a doctor who properly corrects the bulbous nose by factoring in osteotomy, alar reduction, and the columellar angle. Personally, I think a custom implant is truly the answer for a smooth bridge line. There is no lifting away from the tissue or foreign-body sensation at all! After three months, even the residual swelling has gone down and it has settled in properly. Everyone I meet says my nose is so pretty and asks where I had it done, so taking selfies is especially fun these days, haha. If anyone here has questions, please leave a comment!
