Inflammation developed in my existing nose, which led me to become interested in implant-free rhinoplasty. I had thought it would be my final surgery and vowed never to have surgery again, but inflammation suddenly developed in my nose, so I became interested in building up the nasal bridge with autologous costal cartilage. This surgical method is not common and does not have very favorable reviews, so I deliberated a lot. However, when the doctor said that using silicone in my nose could definitely trigger an inflammatory reaction, I decided to have surgery. I am satisfied with the nasal shape, but the columella became crooked, causing my nostrils to be misaligned. The doctor says it is because my nostril wings are different sizes. I am currently living satisfied with it, but I plan to finish my surgical journey with an alar lift at another clinic. Still, I am satisfied with my nasal bridge.
