About 10 years ago, I received Aqua Fill injections in my breasts. A lot of time passed, and recently my left breast enlarged abnormally, so I became worried. Tests showed that the filler had infiltrated both breasts and that I also had inflammatory seromas, so I had many worries even before surgery.
While consulting with Dr. Kim Min-young, I also underwent an ultrasound examination. I received a step-by-step explanation of the current condition of my breasts, how extensively the filler had spread, and the condition of the seromas and inflammation. It was nice that I could comfortably ask about the things I was curious about too.
They explained that the procedure would involve an incision through the armpit area and be performed while viewing with an endoscope. The fact that they would directly inspect the inside during surgery was somewhat reassuring. They also said they would show me the recorded surgical video afterward, so I liked that I could personally review the surgical process.
Since it has been 10 years since the filler was injected, I am worried, and the surgery itself is scary too. But after consulting with the doctor, I feel that I understand my condition and the surgical method to some degree, rather than only worrying vaguely. I am still nervous because the surgery is ahead of me, but the doctor explained things according to my condition, so I am going to try to wait for surgery with a little more peace of mind.
