I previously had nose surgery elsewhere, but as time passed, the nasal tip dropped and I felt that the front view lacked dimension. I had been continually deliberating revision surgery, so I decided to at least go for a consultation. My first surgery had been made too natural, so this time I wanted a line with a clearly noticeable before-and-after difference. I had a CT scan and consulted with the doctor, who carefully explained the condition of the remaining cartilage in my nose and my nasal situation. I brought several photos of the line I wanted. After seeing them, the doctor told me exactly what height was possible given my skin condition and the limit at which it could become upturned if pushed too far. Rather than saying that everything was possible, the doctor clearly presented materials suited to my condition, which inspired trust. I also brought a long list of questions, and the doctor explained everything well without seeming bothered. (I had previously been to places that seemed tired because I asked many questions..) Since it is revision surgery, I was more worried than with my first surgery. Still, the consultation gave me hope about revision surgery, and the doctor seemed to have extensive experience with noses and many revision cases, so it was a place I was drawn to. I plan to compare other places as well.
