My first double-eyelid surgery was a real mess, and the crease itself was different on each side, which was so stressful T_T So I had consultations at several places, and Chai Plastic Surgery was the only one that said the asymmetry could be improved simply by redefining the crease with a buried-suture procedure. Since my first surgery was incisional, I wanted to have it redone with the buried-suture method, so I kept asking whether it would come undone even with that method. The doctor confidently told me it would not come undone, which made me trust them even more. I was really grateful for that T_T During the consultation, they also recommended lower-eyelid fat repositioning, so I had that done as well, just slightly, along with a subtle amount of ptosis correction. My inner canthoplasty had been uneven on both sides in the first surgery, so I deliberated a lot about whether to have it redone, but ultimately decided to slightly widen only the right side. I also explained the look I wanted for lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty, and they said they would tailor it well to my eyes, so I went ahead with it eagerly! It has not been long since the surgery, so the swelling has not fully gone down yet, but even now, seeing the crease taking shape makes me so excited to see how it will look once the swelling subsides T_T My first surgery caused me so much stress, so I really hope this time brings a satisfying result. I will keep watching the swelling go down and leave another review!
