Petit Procedure Reviews

If you are considering an unlimited lip-filler clinic for lip enhancement, research carefully

This clinic promotes the fact that “the doctor consults first” as a sign of expertise. That was actually what appealed to me, too, when I chose it. But when I entered the consultation room, the chief doctor was eating something. They said, “Sorry, I’m eating,” and conducted the consultation with food in their mouth. Personally, I found that startling from the first impression. And despite the doctor consulting first, I did not feel that the consultation was particularly detailed. It involved going through prepared materials such as a PPT. During the consultation, the doctor looked at my face and said there was an additional procedure that would be good. When I asked what it was, they said filler in the front cheeks was more urgent than lip filler. I do not normally worry about my front cheeks, so I said I was fine, but they even showed me photos of front-cheek filler procedures and recommended it. They also said that whether to do it was my choice, but because it was a procedure I had not felt I needed, this was personally a little burdensome as well. The coordinator consultation itself was ordinary. It was a lip-filler consultation, but I was also recommended corner-of-mouth Botox and mentalis Botox, and at the time it was recommended strongly enough that it felt as though I had to get them. I ultimately received them too. I chose a package including Belotero filler and Botox, and the total cost was nearly KRW 1 million. What I am most dissatisfied with is the result. I went after seeing the description “unlimited volume,” but the filler actually injected into my lips was 1.3 cc according to the clinic’s confirmation. Of course, I understand that the appropriate volume differs by person. However, when they showed me a mirror during the procedure and asked whether there was any area where I wanted more, I said I wanted a little more volume. But they did not recommend adding more because it could look like duck lips, so I followed the medical staff’s opinion and did not add more. In other words, it was not because I was fully satisfied with the current shape and volume and said, “I do not want any more.” But once the swelling went down, I personally felt that the change in lip shape and volume was far less than expected. I also felt I had paid quite a lot compared with other clinics, so I asked the clinic via KakaoTalk about a touch-up. In that process, I received a response from the clinic essentially saying, “Would it be okay if we inject a lot and make you look unattractive?” I felt very offended, wondering whether that was an appropriate expression to use with a client asking about a procedure result. When I asked who was responding, I was told that the chief doctor was replying directly. The touch-up cost was about KRW 300,000 based on the information I received, and the additional injectable volume was said to be about 1 cc, which was also very disappointing to me. The waiting time was also very disappointing. Before the procedure, I had said that I could not wait more than an hour, but after anesthetic cream was applied to my lips, I waited more than 1 hour and 20 minutes for the actual procedure. During that time, I also saw people who appeared to have arrived after me enter the procedure room first. So when the doctor came in to perform the procedure, I directly said, “I really waited a long time T_T.” As I recall, rather than offering a separate apology, they replied something like, “Okay, I’ll inject it well,” and immediately proceeded. I was extremely hurt by this as well. Overall, the staff’s service did not leave me with an impression of being kind or attentive, and I was not satisfied from the consultation through my post-procedure inquiries. In particular, although I paid a substantial amount, the post-procedure change was less than expected, and what dissatisfies me most is that I would have to pay again to receive an additional touch-up. If anyone sees the word “unlimited” and expects, as I did, to be able to adjust the volume sufficiently to their desired level, I recommend confirming the actual injection volume, criteria for additional injections, and touch-up cost precisely before deciding. Based on my experience, I have no intention of returning. Overall, I was very disappointed with the results for the cost, as well as the consultation and service. ※ This is a personal review based on my direct experience of consultation, procedure, and KakaoTalk consultation with the clinic. P.S. [Clinic A] sent me a KakaoTalk message saying they had directly checked what I wrote in this community and referring to “defamation,” so I kept the facts unchanged but revised potentially misleading expressions to be as mild as possible, lol.
