I will share my review of double-chin facial liposuction and Mint thread lifting in my 40s. Why are there so many events and gatherings in September? I keep gaining weight. They say I should succeed at dieting before menopause, but my willpower is lacking, so it is not easy. Still, thankfully, because I had facial liposuction before, my facial fat does not increase even when I gain weight. Facial liposuction really seems to have the highest satisfaction because it is permanent once you have it done! Starting with masseter Botox in my 20s, I think I have tried nearly every dermatologic procedure: contour injections, fillers, skin Botox, InMode lifting, Doublo, Shurink, Aqua Peeling, and salivary-gland Botox... Other than major bone surgeries such as facial contouring or two-jaw surgery, I seem to have had almost everything. I even have a friend who had two-jaw surgery, but because her skin is thick, sagging became severe as she aged. She is considering double-chin facial liposuction, double-chin thread lifting, or double-chin muscle binding. I did not undergo expensive, risky bone surgery, but perhaps I may need it later. Still, it certainly seems that your 40s are the golden time for skin care. If you let upkeep slide now, you may need major surgery such as a facelift later, so I recommend maintaining things in advance with lifting procedures. I had a lot of facial filler in my 30s. Starting with nasolabial-fold and under-eye-aegyo fillers, there was hardly anywhere I did not get it: forehead, nose, under the eyes, cheeks, and lips. Because I got them so often, I sometimes felt areas swell like inflammation when I was tired. Still, fillers have an immediate effect and are cost-effective with Botox, so they are hard to stop. In particular, for a peanut-shaped face like mine with hollows below the cheekbones, lateral-cheek filler is essential, so I think I need to get it again soon. Since I have had a round face since childhood, I regularly received lifting lasers such as Shurink and Doublo as well as contour injections. Honestly, they hurt a lot and lasted less than three months, so the maintenance period was too short. Repeating them was cumbersome, so I am taking a break from laser lifting these days. For facial thread lifting, I think it is just right to pull things up once in a while with something like Mint thread lifting when cheek sagging or deep cheek fat becomes noticeable. I have kept up with care, so I do not have major sagging yet. If I had to pick the best procedure of my life, it would definitely be facial liposuction! The surgery took about an hour, there was no stitch removal, and it was so convenient. You only need to wear a compression garment on day 1 after facial-liposuction surgery, so many people take leave on Friday and get it done. Above all, the surgeon's skill is most important; I had mine done by Dr. Jeong at Doctor Jeongri. Perhaps because of his extensive experience, the contour is clean and it has been maintained very well until now. I have not had skin Botox, hydrating injections, or Chanel injections for a long time because I did not notice much effect. Instead, I do MTS home care, and it has worked better than expected for improving skin texture. Finally, I am still unsure because among laser procedures I have not tried Thermage. I tried Tune Face, but it did not have much effect for me, so I hesitate about Thermage too. Would it be better to get it later, when cheek hollowing or volume loss becomes really severe? Or should I start now for firmness maintenance before it is too late? If anyone in their 40s has tried Thermage FLX, please share honest recommendations or information such as results and cost in the comments!
