I was worried because there were many reviews saying the consultation was kind but the surgical process and aftercare were somewhat cursory. However, it was the place that was most detailed during consultation and designed the line I wanted, so I decided on surgery.
Since it is a somewhat large clinic, it was quite busy and the surgical schedule was delayed, so I waited about an hour. The waiting room and recovery room felt a little cramped, but once I entered the operating room, they made the atmosphere very comfortable, and the doctor examined me carefully right before surgery.
At first I was briefly put under sedation to administer the local-anesthetic injections, and the surgery itself was performed with local anesthesia only. They kept explaining what was being done where, and had me open my eyes several times during the procedure to check the crease, so I felt reassured.
It is still early in recovery, so my double-eyelid crease is quite swollen, but I am satisfied because the starting point of the crease and the medial canthoplasty seem to have turned out in the shape I wanted.
